Hi Jules! Thanks so much for your warm and generous comment. Yeah ~ I’m trained as a visual artist. After I got a Fine Arts degree from University of Colorado, I was a full time potter for a decade before I went into teaching. I continued to produce pottery, sculpture and mixed media pieces throughout my career in public and private education. After leaving my adjunct position at a college, I no longer had access to a ceramic studio and I started exploring digital image making, which is what you see here. Although there are actual images in the digital work that are taken right off the surfaces of my recent ceramic sculptures. There’s a whole other raging garage band musician part of my life that still rears its ugly head. The advantage to owning a PA is that we can still stand for the Pledge every morning (it’s just my wife and the cocker spaniels now) while I recite the Maxwell Mission! 😉

This is your work? How cool! A man of many talents. I love the incorporation of the palm in the 2nd picture.
